Based in Scotland, Hamish is a photographer with a real passion for the mountain sports that he documents. As a proficient skier, climber and fell-runner, Hamish is able to capture the highs and lows of these sports, bringing them to life with exciting, dynamic images.

He is best known for his work documenting the Scottish backcountry ski scene, depicting the annual game of chasing snow and weather conditions up and down the Highlands. With a focus on travelling fast and light, Hamish is able to capture images of athletes skiing the toughest and steepest Scottish terrain from the most challenging positions, giving an honest insight into the freeskiing experience.

His work has been published in national press such as The Times, The Scotsman and The Herald, and recent images have been recognised with awards at the Kendal Mountain Festival. He has worked with Rab, Coldhouse Collective, Red Bull Media House UK, The BMC, Scarpa, Trail Magazine and The Ski Club of Great Britain.
